The E3 Leadership Academy Foundations Workshop is a research-informed, practice-driven learning experience designed for emerging and established leaders who want a clearer understanding of how leadership and followership shape organizational outcomes.

The workshop begins with foundational concepts in organizational design, including how structure, systems, decision-making, and culture interact to influence performance. Participants examine how leaders and followers affect these elements through everyday choices and behaviors, and how those influences accumulate over time.

By connecting academic frameworks with real-world examples, the Foundations Workshop helps participants develop a more practical and realistic view of leadership, grounded in clarity, alignment, and shared responsibility.

Participants will leave with:

An Introduction to Organizational Design Fundamentals
An understanding of how organizations are structured to produce outcomes, and how leadership behavior supports or disrupts that design.

Clarity on Leadership and Followership Roles
A clearer view of the distinct and shared responsibilities leaders and followers hold in shaping direction and execution.

Understanding Leader–Follower Dynamics
Insight into how influence, accountability, and trust operate between leaders and followers in day-to-day work.

Improved Directional Clarity
Practical approaches for setting direction, clarifying expectations, and reducing unnecessary ambiguity within teams.

Grounded Leadership Development Goals
Guided reflection to define personal, professional, and organizational development goals that connect directly to real work and outcomes.Â
